| Flame Stop I is a non-toxic, clear and effective fire retardant for use interior applications such as fabric, draperies, wall coverings, carpet, furniture, cotton muslin, paper/straw, most synthetics, redwood, cedar, Douglas fir, crafts, holiday decorations, costumes, potholders, etc. Flame Stop I is safe, completely non-toxic, non-hazardous to the environment and simple to apply. Widely used in restaurants, hotels, hospitals, homes and many other commercial and residential buildings, the product dries clear and can be sprayed, brushed or rolled on.
A Class B one coat fire retardent system with 35 flamespread and 15 smoke developed, Flame Stop I has been tested to the following standards: ASTM E-84, NFPA 255, UL 723: U.S. Testing #LA 62192, CA Reg #C-14401 NFPA 701. The life of the flame retardancy is indefinite as long as the fabrics are not wet washed, however, they may be dry cleaned up to 20 times!
